Looking CHANEL Glamour this summer by Lisa Elderidge
I don't like to spend a big buck on cosmetic but these colors are easy to grab at counter and by using the same technique, you'll achieve the same glamorous CHANEL eyes.

an alarm clock on wheels...I got this as our 4 yr anniversary for my hubby who always like to steal my alarm clock. I found this @Lula Mae, a local artistic gift shop in Pasadena whichI can always found lots of little here and there.

previous work, Color Theory
this is the presentation of what the top 3 things are better representing myself...classic fashion style, my Welsh corgi, and Nikon camera
I was surprised of how well I can handle black&white painting. I'm guessing probably from shooting pic around all the time.
I love the texture of the trees which I use actual leaf to imprint on.
original sketch
colors for 4 seasons. I use spider on a flower to creep audience sensation which turns out pretty well. Later on my work has the honor to be used as a sample in class.
Spring: colors of Sanrio land in Japan. Earlier I visited Japan all the time, and it happened to be spring time as well. and I always pay a visit@Sanrio store before I flew out.
Summer: colors of Blue seal ice cream shop in Okinawa. pineapple ice cream is a must try!!
Autumn: colors of Ohio. nothing can be more beautiful than the autumn of Ohio, just bravo!
Winter: color of 1st snow in the morning. it's like Heaven.
color of harmony

structural
at the end of experiment, I got addicted of just drawing simple lines.
balance
repetition: experiment of Andy Warhol element
natural: extra thin pen, of course, made in Japan, definitely caught every one's attention, and got job done clean
I actually failed on this one so I had to do the one below but it turns out pretty animated.
natural creatures: mushroom and spider just so...got in ppl's mind and everyone started to do spiders afterwards, and of course, with complains to my face first, 'this gives me goose pump.'
animal
I just watched National Geography before did this piece and was inspired by wild salmon which are very brave and determined to swim back to upstream where they were born in order to lay eggs, not mentioning with grizzly bears waiting there with hug paws clapping, trying to catch meals. and the waves actually are the production/inspiration of a dreamy
Sunday afternoon, sailing out with friends. nothing gets better than nature!!
final
a combination of all the work I have done with my name on. I was tyring to have different presentation so I did both vertical and horizontal and let the teacher chose. dah, dah, the bottom one is the winner and in the mean time, the result gave me the insight of what American audience prefers. I love to do a little marketing experiment thru my work so I can know the marketing better in order to know what to expect and produce/design.

Type-assignment 1
'I want to DO ART too,' said little Chole, 2.5yrs old, with confidence. While baby-sitting my neighbor's baby girl, I was trying to finish up the last touch of the assignment. She came up to me, like the best artist in the world, and wanted to participate. Carefully putting away my 48'x26', hard-to-find poster paper, I smiled at her, 'yes, let's do art.'
Meanwhile, I adore her fearless confidence, and wonder 'where do we[adult] loose our confidence along the way? why can't we just be so brave, and say "I can do the art" like those amazing artists out there? or we just simply grow up and are afraid to fall again?!!'
Certainly, those in my class have the same confidence. Some are career-changer; some are recently graduated and want to create their own portfolio, and some just want to become better. They're the bravers, and not mentioning our teacher, Scott Moss, a kind and patient man to answer all our questions, no matter small or big, industrial or non-industrial....I can't wait to be brought to higher level along the journey.

we're going to focus on 5 typos, Garamond, Baskerville, Bondoni, Clarendon, Helvetica thru out the qtr.
I choose letter V, j, e, s, and f because they have the most interesting characteristic and formation accordingly. Here I'm trying to bring the fun part of the letters, and still maintain the recognition of themselves.

Pkg Design for Food, Japan
just had a quick run to Ai, aka, Art Institute, and gosh! I miss the smell, the air, the wicked students(cough, cough, I mean hard working students there) Their minds are constantly under the influence of all sorts of ideas and oh, man, that feels good.
