Body Shop

experimenting with black&white pictures.  I always love old photos, very Rich, telling a lot of stories rather than colors.  Nothing like old days Spanish immigrants, the owner, Art Olivares and his team are very nice people, and hard-working, which I cherish for.  So B&W just fits the profile.

About My Closet

I love to work with 'limited source' especially this moment of time. 
Looking good doesn't mean having spending a lot of money.  Therefore, I'm trying to use pieces that I have to create new life/face.  often time, my gals will ask, 'where do you usually shop? how did you get all these amazing clothes?'  'honestly, you see this a week earlier...it's been with me for 5 yrs.' 

styles may change but classic will always stay, pretty much the same, a good pair of jeans, skinny or belt bottom, a fit cut trench coat, and of course, good material, like silk, cotton, linen...etc.  as long as putting money at the 1st place, it's a good investment for life time.  Start to clean up the closet, recycle @Crossroad Trading Co. or any consignment stores and get the money back to where it belongs.

Square Scoop

this is the website that I do with my friend, Shyree, who is an expected art consultant.
Square Scoop, is a platform for art/design information exchange.  You'll find LA local art events or new coming artists here.  Mainly, we try to make art simple to read and follow for mass. 

So I try to come up with a sensible name, and it is how I create...
Have you noticed? Square is the shape as any art always performed in, eg, TV, stage, canvas, etc, a square platform, and followed by a simple definition, Give New Value to Expect, nothing too complex just like a morning walk in the forest. 

Also, I love to play with typo in this website b/c its clean-cut design, interesting color and aggressive typo become more important.  Finishing with our profile picture, a busy Tokyo intersection, slowly part of LA famous palm tree gliding in, tells a story of mix cultures of Shyree and I.  After all, here is the land of '...everyone will be world famous for 15 mins.'
